Fight Against Food Waste with Novotel Tangerang

In collaboration with Surplus Indonesia, we fight food waste by offering consumable food at affordable prices.

Food waste can happen anywhere and hotels are no exception. It usually happens because there is food that is not used up from breakfast, coffee break meetings, to party celebrations. Even though the food is still very suitable for consumption, and sometimes there is still quite a lot left.

Therefore, we are working with Surplus Indonesia to reduce food waste by offering food worthy of consumption at affordable prices, starting from Rp10,000. Users can download the Surplus app and select the Novotel Tangerang outlet to start shopping.

Currently, we provide local to international menus that can be enjoyed during breakfast, such as Indonesian breakfast, American breakfast, porridge, pastry and bakery, and many more. Therefore, you can taste some of these menus at an affordable price. From 9:00am to 10:00am or until 11:00am on weekends, some of these menus can be purchased at affordable prices through the Surplus app. Later, the food that has been purchased can be delivered via online motorcycle taxi or can be directly picked up at our restaurant, The Square Restaurant.
